I just had to do a post about this fabulous wedding. I traveled from Penzance to Plymouth to photograph Pixie and Jak’s pirate wedding – a lot of P’s in there!

Being slightly alternative myself, I knew I would love this wedding. What’s not to love when a bride has the most amazing gothic dress and colorful hair? The groom and his crew are dressed dapper with a tweak of pirate swagger.

Never have I seen a bride walk down the aisle to an acoustic cover of Metallica – how cool is that?

Their wedding was really personal to Pixie and Jak with lots of gothic themed decorations, such as a Nightmare Before Christmas cake and skull center pieces.

The sun started shining and as a result I got some beautiful photos of the happy couple in a meadow next to the grounds, before we headed back in for lunch and speeches. The evening was filled with rum and laughter, as the couple rocked to some awesome music.
